Wild Roots: The Ascent
Middle & High School Program Information
Launching Fall 2026

Rooted in community. Reaching toward purpose.

About Our Program
Wild Roots Collective is growing upward with the launch of Wild Roots: The Ascent.
Our middle and high school program is designed to help students grow strong in both knowledge and character as they prepare for life’s next steps. We offer a well-rounded, multi-disciplinary and thoughtfully planned program that supports the coursework needed for Indiana diploma pathways—while maintaining the freedom and flexibility that make homeschooling meaningful. Our vision allows students to learn in ways that fit their individual strengths, interests, and goals. Through hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, and mentorship, we help our older learners discover their passions, build practical skills, and take ownership of their learning journey. We believe education should inspire confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning—rooted in community and reaching ever upward. Students in Indiana can begin earning high school credits as early as 7th grade, and our program is designed to help families navigate that process with confidence. *Our Approach* Our academic team is building a structured, yet flexible, system using curriculum lines from Guest Hollow. These engaging, literature-rich programs will be adapted and aligned to Indiana diploma pathways through custom syllabi created by our team. Each subject is designed to be immersive and adaptable, integrating reading, writing, science, history, and discussion to create a well-rounded educational experience.

FAQs

What ages do you accept into your high school program?

Our Wild Roots: The Ascent program offers credited classes. To receive credits in Indiana, you must be age 12 or older.

What about younger siblings?

Younger siblings can enroll in our regular classes or any preschool level class!

What are my requirements as a parent if I enroll my child in The Ascent?

Since The Ascent is part of our full membership, the parent responsibilities are the same as full members. All parents are required to teach one class or assist in two classes per semester. These do not need to be high school classes -they will be our main or preschool level classes.
