Welcome to Wild Roots Collective, where learning thrives through the support of community and the inspiration of the natural world. Our homeschool co-op is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where families come together to create an educational experience that blends academic growth with hands-on exploration of nature.
At Wild Roots, we believe that education is most powerful when it's rooted in curiosity and real-world experiences. We offer a unique opportunity for children to learn not only from textbooks but also from the world around them. Whether we're studying ecosystems in the forest, creating art from natural materials, or practicing sustainability through gardening, nature is at the heart of everything we do.
We understand the importance of a well-rounded education, which is why we also offer regular classes that provide essential skills for the future. In addition to our nature-based activities, students have the opportunity to engage in subjects like computers, economics, mathematics, and the arts—ensuring that they are equipped with both practical knowledge and a deep appreciation for the world around them. These core subjects, combined with our hands-on outdoor experiences, create a balanced, comprehensive curriculum that prepares children for the challenges of tomorrow.
Our co-op brings together families who share a common goal: to raise confident, independent learners who are as comfortable in the classroom as they are outdoors. From outdoor adventures to creative projects, our curriculum fosters both intellectual and emotional growth, helping children develop a deep respect for the environment and a lifelong love of learning.

What Learning Looks Like at WRC!
Wild Roots Collective is serving preschool through high school students, with the goal of offering high school credits to support our students' academic journeys. We believe in a holistic approach to learning, where diverse learning styles are embraced, yet also allowing our students the chance to thrive in a sturctured environment.
So what exactly does a day look like at WRC? Our classes will run from 10:00am-12:30pm every Thursday, and consist of 3 -45 minute classes. The classes offered and class size are dependent on what our teachers propose each semester. We are looking forward to many nature oriented offerings, as our amazing location has over 150 acres of beautiful outdoor space! We will then all gather for lunch and begin our optional afternoon workshop class.

Our parents play a vital role in the success of everything we do, from providing resources and teaching our classes to contributing their time, skills, and expertise to enhance the overall experience.
