Little Sprouts (4 yrs - 5 yrs)
Where curiosity takes root and young learners grow through nature, play, and community.
Little Sprouts is Wild Roots Collective’s early childhood program inspired by forest kindergarten principles and the belief that children learn best through wonder, movement, and meaningful play. Designed for our youngest explorers, this nature-based program gives 4- and 5-year-olds the freedom to discover the world around them while building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Each day follows a gentle, predictable rhythm that nurtures both independence and a sense of belonging. Children will gather around the campfire for circle time, enjoy unstructured free play, hike through the woods, explore nature journaling, share snacks together, and engage in a hands-on themed activity. Our dedicated nature play area—including a slack line, mud table, climbing structures, and more—invites imaginative play, problem solving, and joy.
Little Sprouts encourages children to respect the land, care for one another, and trust their own abilities. Through outdoor exploration and community-centered learning, students develop a strong foundation for future academics while preserving the creativity and curiosity that make early childhood so magical.
Quick Notes:
- Little Sprouts takes place during 1st and 2nd class periods. For 3rd period students will have the option between two classes similar to the older students.
