Main Classes (4 yrs - 11 yrs)
Hands-on learning, big ideas, and plenty of fresh air.
Our main classes are the heart of Wild Roots — a place where curiosity comes alive and kids learn by doing, exploring, and connecting with one another. Designed for ages 4–12, our program offers a balance of structured learning and free-spirited discovery, all within our nature-based setting.
Each week, students enjoy three class periods, with two engaging options offered per period. Families can choose what best fits their child’s interests — whether that’s diving into science experiments, crafting with natural materials, exploring local wildlife, or working on creative projects together.
One of the things that makes Wild Roots special is that our classes are community-driven. Each semester, parents have the opportunity to propose and teach classes based on their passions and skills. This means our schedule changes with each session — keeping things fresh, inspiring, and full of variety!
Here’s a peek at some of our past classes to give you a sense of what we’ve offered before:

No matter which classes our students choose, every day at Wild Roots is filled with creativity, laughter, and a love for learning that grows naturally — just like our roots.
